Managed Interconnection

SIP-I, SS7 and Diameter signalling managed end-to-end. We negotiate the rate card, walk the integration through to commercial go-live.

What we run

The interconnect layer, owned, not brokered.

Most ‘interconnect’ providers are resellers with a switch and a phonebook. We operate the signalling stack ourselves. The rate card is ours, the SLA is ours, the escalation path is named.

SIP-I / SIP-T

SIP-I / SIP-T

TDM signalling encapsulated in SIP-I, so ISUP release codes survive across the IP hop. Critical for lawful intercept compliance and call-quality diagnostics.

SS7 / SIGTRAN

SS7 / SIGTRAN

Legacy SS7 and SIGTRAN variants still carry the bulk of international signalling. We support MAP, CAMEL, ISUP across multiple national variants.

Diameter (LTE)

Diameter (LTE)

For LTE roaming and policy interconnect. We handle the S6a, S6t, S8 interfaces and the routing of Diameter messages across realms.

How it works

From first call to commercial go-live.

Interconnect projects die in the gap between commercial agreement and live traffic. We close it.

01

Commercial negotiation

Rate card, currency, billing increment (1/1 wholesale, 6/6 or 30/6 retail), payment terms, settlement cycle. We negotiate on your side of the table.

02

Technical design

Signalling variant, IP addressing, codec list, DTMF transport (RFC 2833 or in-band), header manipulation rules, failover topology.

03

Homologation and compliance

Where the destination requires equipment or signalling homologation, we manage the in-country process. LI obligations are configured before first call.

04

Test and turn-up

Test call campaigns across destinations, ASR baseline established, fraud screens active, CDRs reconciled. Only then do we move from test to live traffic.

05

Operational handover

Named engineer on the account. NOC escalation path documented. Quarterly business review against the rate card and the SLA floor.

Why this is different

Three things that should not be unusual, and are.

One named engineer

One named engineer

Not a ticket queue. The engineer who walked the interconnect live is the engineer you call when something drifts at 02:00.

Rate card is ours

Rate card is ours

We are not reselling a third party’s switch. If a rate moves, we move it directly, not through a chain of brokers.

LI built in

LI built in

Lawful intercept obligations are configured at the signalling layer from day one. Not bolted on after an audit asks for it.
